Teachers Training

UNESCO’s 2006 Report on “Teachers and Educational Quality: Monitoring Global Needs for 2015” states that countries around the world will need to recruit more than 18 million teachers by the next decade. In this rapidly changing world, teachers are required to deal with a myriad of children’s needs and with the necessity to teach them not only the subject matter, but also how to think effectively, where to find information, and how to make use of it. As someone equipped to face the future.

Furthermore the Educational System must perceive the Professional Development of their Teachers as a main field to invest. The teacher needs to be equipped to face the future and to be in a continuous process of learning. Due to this conviction Israel developed The “PISGA” centers aimed to provide instruction for practicing teachers in Israel.

- Training facilitators to support teachers in the field
